Freelance Coaching
As a BHS Accredited Professional Coach, and an Approved Coach for the Retraining of Racehorses, I offer freelance coaching across the whole of Staffordshire, as well as the Derbyshire and Cheshire Borders.
My background, and my work as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist gives me a deep understanding of horse and rider biomechanics, as well having a passion for producing confident horses and riders.
All types of coaching sessions available; flatwork, pole work, and all aspects of jumping.

Coaching at Spot Acre Equestrian
As well as travelling offering Freelance Coaching at your yard, I am very lucky to have the base of Lizzie Walsh Equestrian at Spot Acre Equestrian Center in Stone, Staffordshire.
Here I have the use three amazing arenas; one indoor, two outdoor, fully equipped with FEI show jumps, including fillers and water trays. We also regularly put the arena cross country fences in the indoor.
At Home Training Programmes
It can be hard to keep up your training motivation in-between coaching sessions and competitions.
- Training sessions over 4 weeks tailored to you, and your horses goals, to be completed on your own at home.
- unlimited video/WhatsApp feedback and support.
- these sessions may be flat work, pole work, jumping, or groundwork depending on your current stage of training, and your specific training goals.
Training Programmes can be tailored to each horse/pony and rider combination;
- young horse
- new horse
- retraining the ex-race horse
- aiming for your first competition season.
- just wanting to enjoy your horse!
** Training programmes are available immediately to my existing clients. I will require any new clients to have an assessment lesson in person before being given their session plans.
Training with Kinesiology Tape
Kinesiology tape is a great tool that can be used to take your horse's training to the next level. It can reduce the risk of injury, improve their recovery, and enhance their overall performance.
I offer Kinesiology taping to all of my clients; eventers, riding club horses, young horses, older horses, and horse's coming back from injury.
