Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology tape can be used to either therapeutically, or to enhance your horse's training. Unlike medical tape, Kinesiology tape is really stretchy and allows for full range of joint or muscle movement. It is applied to the hair to influence the soft tissue, and stimulate the nerves and receptors within the skin.
The tape can be applied using various methods depending on the desired effect and end result;
- Pain relief
- Joint/tendon support
- Improve circulation and reduce swelling.
- Muscle relaxation
- Muscle support/assist; re-educate muscles, support
weak areas, and enhance performance
